B-je Tan is a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Select Properties whose British Columbia real-estate career began in 2012. She serves buyers and sellers across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, with particular focus on South Surrey/White Rock, Richmond, Vancouver, Burnaby, Langley and Surrey.

Having lived in South Surrey/White Rock since 2001, B-je has a long-standing personal connection to the community. She works with all residential property types and gives particular attention to first-time homebuyers, upsizers and downsizers. Professional service is available in English and Filipino.

A Foundation in Architecture and Interior Design

B-je came to Canada as a permanent resident under the professional category of Architect and Interior Designer. Before immigrating, she was a board-certified and licensed architect in the Philippines and earned a Diploma in Interior Design from the Philippine School of Interior Design.

Her interest in homes, interiors and personal service eventually led her to real estate, where she could bring together her professional background, creativity and desire to help people make important decisions about their homes.

Although B-je is not registered or practising as an architect in British Columbia, her professional background continues to shape the way she evaluates properties. She considers how rooms connect, how a floor plan functions, how spaces support everyday routines and how a home may adapt as a family’s needs change.

This perspective helps clients look beyond finishes and staging to better understand a home’s layout, functionality and practical potential. B-je does not provide architectural services in British Columbia.

B-je believes that buying a home should involve more than finding an attractive property. She helps clients examine pricing, estimated carrying costs, property documents, neighbourhood considerations and material risks before deciding whether to proceed.

She explains her observations clearly, encourages questions and helps clients understand the available information so they can evaluate properties with greater confidence.

When specialized financing, inspection, legal, engineering, architectural or other professional advice is required, B-je encourages clients to consult the appropriate qualified professional.

B-je cares for her clients as she would members of her own family. Her goal is not to pressure people into a transaction, but to provide the information, perspective and support they need to make decisions that respect their finances, lifestyle and long-term quality of life.

Her guiding principle is simple: if she would not consider a home suitable for herself or her own children, she would not recommend it to her buyers.
